Drupal Central is a Kansas City based Drupal association designed to accomplish the following goals:

• Allow Drupal users network and collaborate with other people in the Drupal community.
• Provide education and training to new, intermediate and advanced users.
• Use Drupal as a tool to benefit the community.

About the Events

Instead of just building random sites that nobody will use, we plan to build website for non-profile organizations. This allows us to teach Drupal while supporting good causes. We also want to make the events equally valuable for new Drupal users as well as experienced developers. For the first few events we invite more experienced developers to jump in and contribute to the builds. We will also move quickly through the builds and will not slow down much to explain in detail what is going on. New users shouldn't worry though. We plan to record the event builds so that newer users can go back and watch the recordings to review certain steps.

In the future we may split up into different session for new and experienced users. However, we will need to boost membership before this is possible.
